Day 1 : Guwahati – Kaziranga National Park
Get there in Guwahati. Continue to Kaziranga, an ancient city located on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. On the banks of the Brahmaputra River, Kaziranga National Park is the oldest park in Assam. It is renowned for housing the largest Indian one-horned rhinoceros.
Day 2 : Kaziranga National Park
Enjoy an elephant safari in the morning (subject to operation). Visit the National Orchid and Biodiversity Park in Kaziranga, which is ideal for orchids and nature lovers. Enjoy the unique Jeep safari in the afternoon.
Day 3 : Kaziranga – Shillong
Make your way to Shillong. The name Shillong means “Abode of Clouds.” Famous for its largest waterfall, breathtaking scenery, great people, and peaceful culture. Enjoy a boat ride (subject to operation) at Umiam Lake, one of Meghalaya’s largest manmade lakes, while you travel. Make an evening arrival in Shillong.
Day 4 : Shillong – Cherrapunji – Shillong
Go to Cherrapunji now. Take pictures at Elephant Falls while traveling. The wettest spot on earth is reputed to be Cherrapunji, commonly known as Sohra. Visit Nohkalikai Falls, the tallest plunge waterfall in India, Seven Sisters Falls, a cascade with seven distinct sections, and Ramakrishna Mission, which was built on the sound principles of Swami Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Swami Vivekananda’s teachings. Arrive in the evening in Shillong.
Day 5 : Shillong – Mawlynnong Village – Dawki – Shillong
Make your way to Mawlynnong hamlet, Asia’s cleanest hamlet, where you can take in the natural beauty of the area, see the lovely little homes of the inhabitants, and cross the live Root Bridge, a suspension bridge made of live plant roots that were created by bending trees. We travel to Dawki village in the evening for a boat trip on the Umngot River, one of India’s cleanest rivers. The water in the river is so pure that the boats seem to float over it. Day 6 : Shillong – Guwahati
Check out Shillong Peak (Depending on Operations). Visit the Don Bosco Museum later—one of India’s most cutting-edge museums—subject to operation. Continue to Guwahati, the capital of Assam, which has a wealth of natural beauty and is one of the cities with the greatest population growth worldwide. Enjoy dinner, a local dance performance, and a boat ride (subject to operation) on the Brahmaputra River in the evening as you watch the stunning sunset over the river, popularly known as the “Luit – Colour of Blood.”
Day 7 : Departure from Guwahati
Visit the famous Kamakhya Temple, the oldest of the 51 Shakti Pithas and Assam’s oldest temple. alight the aircraft for your hometown. The tour is over now.
